The European Defence Agency shortlisted for a European Excellence Award
Emakina is proud to announce its client The European Defence Agency (EDA) is shortlisted for the European Public Affairs Excellence Awards.
Its ‘European Defence Matters’ magazine and the webzine version are one of three finalists in this prestigious competition.
The European Excellence Awards recognises organisations and teams that lead by example in implementing innovative and forward-thinking strategies and practices in the field of public affairs.
Emakina’s team worked on the project together with this European entity, after having finalised the EDA’s new website. The European Defence Agency (EDA) is an intergovernmental Agency of the European Council with the mission to support the Member States in their effort to improve European defence capabilities.
The EDA magazine is circulated to key decision makers across Europe involved in all aspects of defence planning, policy, capability development, research and technology and operations. Its readership is in excess of 10,000 via print and over 25,000 via the online ‘webzine’.
The online format has the benefit it can offer expanded articles and supplementary pictures. The content can be easily shared via Twitter, LinkedIn and Email, and the magazine’s ‘Explore’ section gives easy access the European Defence Matters archive and revisits articles of previous editions.
EDA’s Head of Media & Communication and Publishing Director Eric Platteau: “The magazine is available online in a user-friendly, state of the art responsive lay-out and accessible via all your devices: smartphone, tablet or desktop.
We’re positive about this new joint project with Emakina; it once more proves its added value for our communication work.”
